GS1 Lebanon

The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon is the sole representative for GS1 in Lebanon. GS1 is an international not-for-profit association with member organizations in over 100 countries.

GS1 is dedicated to the design and implementation of global standards and solutions to improve the efficiency and visibility of supply and demand chains globally and across sectors. The GS1 system of standards is the most widely used supply chain standards system in the world.

Barcodes

GS1 BarCodes are certainly the most well-known and universally recognizable part of the GS1 System of standards.

The GS1 Key has 4 Parts:

  • Country Code.
  • GCP Global Company Prefix which is assigned by GS1 Lebanon
  • Serial Number assigned by the company to its products, location, logistic units or assets
  • Check Digit assigned by GS1 Lebanon and which is calculated based on a formula to enable scanners to confirm and authenticate a barcode.
Advantages of using GS1 via barcodes
  • Easiness and reliability of collecting and displaying information
  • Speed and accuracy in the identification of products.
  • Control of inventory, and reduction of waste resulting from product expiration.
  • Numbering of products through a unique international system and visibility for producers on the local and international levels.
Traceability

GS1 Traceability is a robust solution for tracking and tracing items through the supply chain. It is GS1 answer to various business needs, whatever the language, sector and technology.

Traceability is an essential and fundamental requirement especially in the export process to international markets. It supports various business needs such as: consumer safety, HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), product quality management, product authentication, anti-counterfeiting policies and regulatory requirements.

الترقيم الرمزي GS1

إن غرفة التجارة والصناعة والزراعة في بيروت وجبل لبنان هي الممثل الوحيد في لبنان لجمعية الترقيم الرمزي GS1.

جمعية الترقيم الرمزي GS1 هي جمعية دولية لا تبتغي الربح لديها أعضاء ممثلين في أكثر من 100 دولة.

تعنى جمعية الترقيم الرمزي GS1 بتصميم وتنفيذ المعايير العالمية وإيجاد الحلول لتحسين الفعالية والاداء ضمن سلسلة الانتاج في مختلف القطاعات.

إن نظام GS1 للمعايير الدولية هو الاكثر انتشاراً في العالم.

الترقيم الرمزي أو الباركود

يعتبر الترقيم الرمزي من أبرز معايير نظام GS1 وهو كناية عن أرقام مرمزة بواسطة خطوط عامودية تتألف من أربعة أقسام:

  • الرمز المخصص للبلد Country Code
  • الرمز المخصص للشركة Global Company Prefix والمحدد من قبل الهيئة الممثلة للجمعية الدولية للترقيم الرمزي GS1 في البلد
  • الرقم التسلسلي Serial Number المحدد من قبل الشركة لمنتجاتها
  • رمز التحقق Check Digit الذي يحدد من قبل GS1 ويستخدم للتحقق من صحة قراءة وتعريف الارقام.
مزايا استخدام الترقيم الرمزي للمنتجات عبر الباركود
  • سهولة جمع المعلومات وعرضها بطريقة سريعة ودقيقة يعتمد عليها
  • السرعة والدقة في التعرف على المنتجات.
  • ضبط حركة المخزون، وتقليل الهدر الناتج عن انتهاء صلاحية المنتجات.
  • ترقيم المنتجات وفقاً لنظام ترقيم عالمي موحد وبطاقة تعريف للمصنع والمنتج محلياً ودولياً.
نظام GS1 للتتبع

هو نظام لتتبع حركة المنتجات خلال جميع المراحل التي تمر بها عبر سلسلة الانتاج.يعتبر نظام التتبع جزءاً أساسيا" وضرورةً قانونية في سلسلة التموين لتحقيق سلامة المستهلك ومحاربة التزوير وتحسين إدارة الإنتاج والإسترداد والعزل وتثبيت أصالة المنتج.

نظام GS1 للتتبع هو شرط اساسي وضروري سيما في عمليات التصدير الى الاسواق الخارجية، ويلبي هذا النظام احتياجات مؤسسات الأعمال في مختلف المجالات أهمها: سلامة المستهلك، تحليل المخاطر ونقاط التحكم الحرجة، إدارة الجودة ، تعريف المنتج، مكافحة التزييف والمتطلبات التنظيمية.
