ICC Centenary Summit in Paris

The International Chamber of Commerce ICC organized the ‘ICC Centenary Summit’ on May 28th at Hotel Salomon de Rotschild in Paris in presence of a large number of Chambers’ representatives and officials from all over the world who came together to celebrate the centenary anniversary of ICC.

The respective speeches delivered by ICC Secretary General John Denton, ICC Chairman Paul Polman , Roberto Azevedo DG of the World Trade Organization and Laurent Fabius stressed on the impactful role of ICC in facing the key challenges of business environment : inequality , multilateralism; the next century of global business; technology, climate and long term market incentives.

The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Beirut & Mount Lebanon was represented in this summit by its Director Generl, Rabih Sabra who also attended s well the ‘Knowledge Solutions Assembly’ held on May 27th at Les Salons de l’Aéro-Club de France in Paris. The Assembly attendees discussed mainly the ambition to equip businesses with the tools to drive change and foster international trade and investment to ensure further inclusive growth and prosperity worldwide.
