Hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the ICC WCF General Council held its meetings on 9 -12 September 2019 at the World Trade Center and the offices of the Russian CCI Federation in Moscow.

Mr. Rabih Sabra, Director General of the Chamber of Beirut & Mount Lebanon and Member of ICC WCF General Council took part in these meetings that gathered high-level policy makers featuring public and private sector leaders from Russia along with prominent representatives from the breadth of the global business arena.

The three-day conferences addressed the ICC declaration on the next century of global business and the WCF strategic roadmap and plans for the future, namely: The Chamber brand, “Connect” platform, anticorruption, youth entrepreneurship, family business, global trade services, Certificates of Origin, ATA carnet, Oslo business for Peace Award, ICC academy and the World Chambers Congress.

The meetings represented an exciting opportunity to discuss the global challenges of the modern world and how to strengthen the cooperation between regional CCIs and the World Chambers Federation.
