The Embassy of India in Lebanon and the embassy of Lebanon in India in collaboration with the Trade Promotion Center of India organized a webinar on “Bilateral Trade and Investment Opportunities between Lebanon and India, which was held on June 04th, 2021.

The Director General of the Chamber of Beirut and Mount Lebanon Mr. Rabih Sabra participated in this Webinar where he presented the Chamber’s services, activities and initiatives in the context of the UN SDGs, namely the EU funded projects. He also tackled the prospects of potential trade and cooperation opportunities between Lebanon and India in light of the Lebanese economic crisis which may be perceived as an advantage to Lebanon at the export level. Mr. Sabra finally expressed readiness in supporting the promotion of bilateral relations in various sectors through the exchange of know-how, joint ventures and mutual initiatives in vocational and technical training and internship programs for Lebanese students.
