Kick off of 1st Training on Trucks Drivers Simulators at Beirut Chamber

Eco and road safety training throughout the Techlog Trucks Driving Simulators Lab at Beirut Chamber

The Chamber of Beirut and Mount-Lebanon launched the first free training session for eco and safe driving at its premises within the Techlog Simulators lab today 1^st of February, 2023.The training was attended by 5 trucks drivers working in Lebanese transport enterprises who were trained by transport experts from logistics sector, American University of Beirut, Council of Road Safety and Traffic and Vehicles Management Authority.

The main objective of the training is to introduce companies’ fleet of Truck Drivers on road safety awareness, practice on safe driving through the innovative simulators and enhance drivers’ sensitivity vis-à-vis road safety and environmental conditions and requirements.

The Simulators program Euro Truck Simulator 2 includes features with business management elements that allow “Players” drive articulated trucks in an open world , delivering loads to a designated locations. The payload must be delivered to the destination within a given amount of time, and with the least amount of damage to the goods as possible. This series of training will continue within the upcoming months to target a higher number of fleet teams.
