Today marked the successful completion of the TECHLOG transfer of technologies pilot actions, implemented by The Chamber of Beirut and Mount Lebanon in collaboration with the American University of Technology (AUT). This initiative involved the training of truck drivers from three companies on simulators within the primary focus to enhance performance, promote road safety, and encourage eco-driving practices.
A ceremony was held to celebrate this achievement and distribute certificates of completion to the trainee’s drivers from the three participating companies: CORAL, IPT, and UTS. The event was attended by AUT Vice President Dr. Marcel Hinain and Dory Abou Saab, the IT and Communication Manager at the Chamber and representatives of the companies, municipalities, SMEs and AUT academics.
This program represents a significant step towards improving road safety and driving standards in lebanon, demonstrating the commitment of the involved organizations to fostering a culture of responsible, efficient green driving practices.
