Developing network of synergies to increase the number of digitally skilled women
The virtual Kick off meeting of the EU funded project INTERNISA took place on 14 & 15 December 2020 In presence of Vice-Governor of Development and Environment, Region of Central Macedonia (Leader of the project), representatives of Joint Secretariat ENI CBC MED and the partners institutions from 8 partners from municipalities, training centers, and youth agencies community in the Mediterranean namely: Spain, Italy, Greece, Palestine, Jordan, Tunisia and Lebanon.
Rabih Sabra, Director General of the Chamber of Beirut & Mount Lebanon, a key partner in INTERNISA project, highlighted through his presentation the Chamber role and solid previous experience in EU and international projects, and the expectations from INTERNISA on providing digital skills and employability opportunities to Lebanese NEET women, SMEs and the public sector. Hana Nehme, Director of Human Resources, presented the capacity building program on four selected sectors: Agrifood, textiles, tourism and financial areas that shall be carried out by the Chamber as coordinator of this WP.
INTERNISA aims at developing a network of synergies to increase the number of digitally skilled women employed in the ENI CBC MED territories via matching demand and supply in the labor market. The target beneficiaries from this project are NEETS women, SMEs community and the public sector.
