OPTIMED PROJECT- Final Conference

Hosted by the Union For Mediterranean (UFM), the final conference of ENPI CBC project Optimed took place today in Barcelona in the presence of high level representatives from public authorities and private logistics entities of Sardinia, Catalunya and Lebanon.

Mr. Rabih Sabra, the Director General of the Chamber of Beirut & Mount Lebanon, intervened in the opening session and stressed on the visionary & strategic message and objectives carried out by Optimed Project in which the Chamber has been engaged since two years. The Lebanese delegation has been presented by Mr. Hassan Kraytem, President of Port of Beirut; Mr. Elie Zakhour, President of the International Chamber of Navigation of Beirut; Mr. Raymond Khoury, Deputy Director of the Lebanese Customs, along with Optimed experts team and Chamber executives were among the key speakers and guests in this conference.
