Interreg NEXT MED Programme Launch Event in Beirut

Director of Projects at the Chamber of Commerce , Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon Hana Nehme, has joined the panel “Driving Innovation, Skills and Entrepreneurship” at the Interreg NEXT MED Programme Launch Event in Beirut, under the theme “Cooperating for a Resilient Mediterranean.”

The event brought together EU Delegation and Italian ambassadors, the Program Managing Authority, Lebanese ministers, and key ecosystem actors to showcase Lebanon’s role in a smarter, greener, and more inclusive Mediterranean.

During the panel, she highlighted SheEmpower and HorizonCraft, two partnership projects of Chamber of Commerce , Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon, focused on empowering women entrepreneurs and youth through sustainable solutions, capacity building, skills development, youth exchange internships, and e-business support. These projects reflect Beirut Chamber’ commitment to inclusive growth, innovation, and cross-border cooperation across the Mediterranean.
