Interreg NEXT MED Programme Launch Event in Beirut

Director of Projects at the Chamber of Commerce , Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon Hana Nehme , has joined the panel “Driving Innovation, Skills and Entrepreneurship” at the Interreg NEXT MED Programme Launch Event in Beirut, under the theme “Cooperating for a Resilient Mediterranean.”

The event brought together EU Delegation and Italian ambassadors, the Program Managing Authority, Lebanese ministers, and key ecosystem actors to showcase Lebanon’s role in a smarter, greener, and more inclusive Mediterranean.

During the panel, she highlighted SheEmpower and HorizonCraft, two partnership projects of Chamber of Commerce , Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon, focused on empowering women entrepreneurs and youth through sustainable solutions, capacity building, skills development, youth exchange internships, and e-business support. These projects reflect Beirut Chamber’ commitment to inclusive growth, innovation, and cross-border cooperation across the Mediterranean.
